How do ASHL playoffs work?

Wondering about the format our ASHL playoffs follow? Read below!

The First Round of ASHL Playoffs only have two configurations:

1. The 2-team, 2-game series is based on points (Win=2 points, Tie=1 point, Loss=0 points). If, after Game 2, the teams are tied in points, they will immediately play a mini-Game 3 to determine a winner [ref. ASHL Rule 4.7(B) on pg. 21].
   
   
2. The 3-team round robin games all go to overtime — if tied after regulation — to compete for the Win (Please note that a point is not awarded for an Overtime Loss). If needed, ASHL Rule 2.14 on pg. 13-14 is used to break ties in the standings.
   

Extended Rounds of ASHL Playoffs are single-game eliminations, so bring your ‘A’ game.
